I was at the NY amp show 2008 and the line 6 guys promised a Vetta Valve later that year? I don't no what changed but, I still have my fingers crossed. I think Vetta guys are starting to feel like AX2 guys, left behind.

I guess your right, it's all about the money. It seems no one really cares about Vetta? I guess it's all AXE-fx now

It was probably me at the NY amp show in NJ. :)

I was in the Spider Valve room showing that and the M13. If someone asked, "are you gonna do Vetta Valve?" I would just say, what do you think? We can't talk about future products and I would never ever have given a date.

you were at the 2008 show? I don't remember the m13 being there? I was distracted by the spider valve(was the M13 out yet?). You guys had a 2x12 spider valve combo, that your were demoing for everyone(sounded fantastic) and I think a couple of spider valve stacks in the back of the room. Any way thanks, I would take that as, it's got to happen, to me that would be a big announcement, YES!! I've been looking at the axe-fx, it was at the 2008 NY amp show, it was not sounding that great. I wanted it to sound great but, maybe it was the demo guys, or the speakers they were using? I can't afford an axe-fx so that's where you guys come in, please help ASAP, thanks for the time

Personally, I'm more interested in an X3 based Flextone Valve but I would love to see valve technology (oxymoron perhaps) make it into the higher end modeling amps. The control, deep editing, and I/O options on the Flextone and Vetta make it a lot more useful for me.

Rich is a man of many hats. He was product manager of Spider Valve (Not MkII though) so m13 wasn't at that show. I tell you this, there has been more than one mention of a Vetta Valve. I think I read a posting that said Mr. Bogner had confirmed the Vetta valve (I know please take that with a large grain of salt).

BTW This Forum has been the worst for my GAS lately. Rich keeps using the beginning trickle of the up and comming flood reference.

The questions I ponder: Do I buy a Spider Valve MKII or wait for the flood?
Do I get that used Malmsteen strat, or is Variax II closer than I think?

These things I wonder about

+1 on all that, I'm thinking the same thing about the new spider valve, major gas pain and no money for medicine LOL

Yup, that was the show. I had long hair. I had an M13. It wasn't working at that point, it would just light up. I was just showing guys the basic vibe.
Also had a James Tyler studio elite with Variax built in that was pretty cool there as well.

Wow your the guy I was talking to, I kept asking you about Vetta valve and you said, it's going to happen. We talked about the spider valve being a great Idea but, Vetta Valve being awesome! I think Bogner came by too? Can't remember. I do remember talking to Bogner about the line 6 stuff, he couldn't be a nicer guy, went out of his way to find me a T-shirt. He couldn't tell me any specifics but, he did say there was a lot of stuff coming. I guess I thought it would happen quicker, Vetta valve or even next generation Vetta. OK, this Axe thing has me going but, I think there's new line 6, just around the corner? and Line 6 is usually less money, I think I'll wait. Thanks for your time that day and the T-shirt.

A Tyler with a variax I would have loved to hear that.

I'm with you I think there are some things coming out and I might as well wait to see what comes out next.
