View Full Version : Safe website for getting tab/lyrics?
HI there-
I'm just looking to get a few songs to freshen up the jam sessions. namely a few petty, boss, dylan songs.
Are there any good sites that give both tab and lyrics with no viruses?
FWIW-I usually use chordie, with no real issues-just wondering about any other good ones.
Cheers!

Cheers!I've never had a problem with viruses from any of the usual sites (the ones you get if you google a song title and tab). But then I have anti-virus software... ;)
(However, IMO, chordie is one of the best.)

I've had no problems here with viruses or spam, and I don't have anti-virus soft-ware or spam-ware.
I just have an old operating system no-one cares to attack.
A better site agan is www.sheetmusicdirect.us (http://www.sheetmusicdirect.us) . Songs cost from 99c to 3.99. What you want will likely be 99c. Good quality, includes standard notation as well as lyrics.

Cowboy Lyrics (http://www.cowboylyrics.com/)
Cowboy Lyrics doesn't have all the pop-ups, pop-unders, stroboscopic graphics or blow your speakers out audio ads like most of the other lyric sites.
And it's not all country & western lyrics... ;)

I think you're missing the point here, Ken... ;)
We don't care if it's wrong or there's bits missing, let alone illegal - as long as it's FREE!!! :banana:rolleyes:
