Hey Everyone Rockett Pedals spent a day at Firehouse Recording Studios in Pasadena (Thanks Candace and Music Connection Magazine) letting a lot of the LA session players go through the pedals. The day went extremely well and since the pedals got such favorable reviews by these guys we agreed to bring out some signature lines for a few of them. The first signature pedals will be 2 for Josh Smith.
1. Dual Tremolo Pedal with separate depth controls and rate controls that you can toggle back and forth for fast and slow trems. It also has a volume so that if the trem effect drops volume you can regain unity. This is a very old school tube sounding trem
2. A signature Chorus as well...think Landau!! more to come.
3. A signature (To be announced) True analog BBD delay with tap tempo, modulation and 900 ms of delay. The pedal also has a dark/bright/normal switch for delay eq.....very cool/haunting type delay!! Coming out very soon!
If you want us to contact you when they are ready please go to www.rockettpedals.com and sign up for our news letter.
Below are a bunch of videos from the day that feature these amazing players. The videos are basic camera recordings but the playing is fun to watch. There is a cool jam from Josh Smith and Francesco Dicosmo of Thin Lizzy doing a blues jam and an impromptu butchering of Drift away but it is cool to watch them work it out!!
Hope you enjoy!!
