I dunno, I was listening to NPR one day and they had on some "Drug Expert", some PhD type guy who lived with heroin addicts for some length of time and wrote a book about it. This guy made it a point to clear up that "dope" is the common term for heroin, not other drugs, like marijuana. But thats not what this thread is about. Lets get back to stuffing domestic animals into smoking devices... err talking about it, I mean.

Indeed. Bad news sells as the saying goes. That's why threads like this attract replies. People are far more interested in the negative than the positive. However, I propose an objective view. The world is horrible and wonderful at the same time.

Are times getting worse overall? I think an objective view would reveal that. It isn't necessarily negative, but realistic. The Emu, also, once buried it's head in the sand. It's now extinct.
