I can't stand the look or smell of the stuff now. Been there?

I didn't live on them but Ive had my share. One of the best halloween costumes I saw was a guy dressed as the Ramen King, he had a crown of spice packets and everything.

Been there, tough times. But I still like it, in fact I just threw two in the pot... looking for mix-ins.

what are y'all ramen recipes? The way I make them is boil them for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and pour out 2/3rds of the water then add the flavor packet and a big chunk of real butter or olive oil. Add a ton of black pepper and eat with some toast. mmm

I would add anything I had in the fridge. Veggies. Chop up a leftover steak. Even carefully broke eggs into the boiling water after adding the seasoning.

Speaking of Ramen noodles, what happened the the Raman brand that had the two or three different little oil flavor packets?
I want some!

Chop up a chunk of red pepper, a chunk of onion, slice some mushrooms and add to the water before you heat to boiling. Add some spinach leaves and a bit of chicken broth to the pot as water steams off. Rinse some bean sprouts and put in the soup bowl. When the water is boiling add the noodles and cook as normal, feel free to cut back on the salt...er, flavor packet. Pour everything over the sprouts in the bowl when the noodles are cooked.
Sliced meat or seafood type ingredients as well as oriental spices are a further option.

First you get a nail, then you boil a large pot of water........

Oh wait!...first you've got to find an old widow woman to help you cook that one.
