I have just replaced my old Classic Lead 80s for mid '90s Vintage 30s. I read on Celestion's site that both those speakers have 1 1/2 size voice coils. But the Classic Leads have a way bigger dust cover on them...I wonder if the difference in size is just the dust covers, or the voice coils on the Classic Leads are NOT 1 1/2 "...
Any info?:)
BTW...I bought those Classic Leads new in '92, and they don't say Made In England anywhere...just the usual Ipswich, England address. The Vintage 30s I used as replacements came off an old Soldano cab I bought used back in '98, those don't say Made In England anywhere too...what gives??? are these all Chinese Celestions??
