These are the Yinbranes model....A2. Very smooth and creamy, would be great for a bright guitar or just folks who like smooth tones (like me). They have a vintage vibe PAF thing going on too. Gotta love them !

There have been a couple bugs with this vid, I'll be working on if so.

Rod at Skatterbrane pickups makes a quality product.:aok

Thanks, Frankie, great job. It seems everyone is thinking there are pedals involved. I am not sure if that is good or bad?

People just don't associate distortion with old BF fenders, not really good or bad.

Well, This Fender of mine has had some top shelf NOS tubes, some of them mullards and bugle boys....I tried everything I could get my hands on and compared them all one at a time till I got the sweetest break-up ever...I wouldn't call that "distortion" Drifting....Just a great sounding amp cranked up ! Glad you guys liked it.

That is full-on NASTY, Awesome pickups, sweet amp, but mostly just great, great playing, feel, and tone. It's all you.

I cannot believe you are getting that sweet of an overdrive out of a straight BF cranked. Sir, who is that man behind that curtain over there? Just kidding, that is some sweet overdrive. I am also a very happy skatterbrane owner.

?

Are you saying it's clean? When you push an amp hard enough, it will begin to clip and distort. Clean headroom is relative, but I'd say at that point the amp was distorting. Not a criticism, just what the amp is doing. Hence distortion. Sounds freaking awesome.

Drifting..I think it's just the choice of words....Natural break-up, or overdrive I guess is what I would call it. When you say the word "distortion" I think of some kids at Guitar Center playing Sweet "Child Of Mine" and it sounds like a bunch of bees buzzing in a jar ! It's all good man ! Thanks for the positive feedback ! Peace !

A Les Paul with humbuckers can make just about any tube amp breakup!
