I go to the movies almost weekly. I've seen some really good new movies since '05, but very few of those were big studio movies. I've only seen 2 or 3 great/good new movies so far this year. I'm hoping the movies they start rolling out for Oscar season changes that.

There have been some great films during that time period. Munich, The Dark Knight, Children of Men, Wall-E, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Hot Fuzz, Gone Baby Gone to name a few. Though, a good or great film seems to be the exception these days.

Plenty of good movies in the past 4-5 years. Wanna talk about bad movies before 05? Are we forgetting the Rambo, or Rocky series, the various Arnuld movies like Commado, Running Man or Raw Deal? Go back and watch some of those now. Just silly. Bad movies abound in every decade, just like bad songs. We tend to forget them after a while.

While I agree with what you're getting at... you MUST remove the original Rocky from this list.

That, was a superb story. I also thought First Blood was very good. The rest were NOT.

Loved Rocky as a kid. Can't finish any of the movies as an adult.

I can't think of one Arnold movie that I really enjoyed.
