I thought the Strat sounded fantastic, the tele a close second. This prototype produces nice chime and bell like tones. Really nice sounding....
Lets have some details !!!!

I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say-- he never gives me straight answers. It gives me the impression that his features are all 'secrets.' (I really hope he hasn't gooped the inside of the amp)
Voicing-- Large mid-cut-- sometimes hard to hear on his originals, but he does a special with a mid-switch, then you really notice it.
Jazz/Rock switch-- interesting-- I like the Jazz setting better, the Rock sounds grittier, maybe a touch more gain... not really sure. I really wish he'd tell me what the switch does. I guess I'll have to buy one and open it up.
Two rectifier tubes in parallel so you can run just one tube-- (you have to use a different rectifier) This lets you go from an almost solid-state response to a more traditional 'saggier' response.
1x12-- I think its a Jensen-- but I can't remember.
4 12ax7s-- sometimes he'll use some 12at7s...
And that's about all I know...
