First off, your playing slays me everytime I hear you play. You have a great tone no matter what you play.It helps to have the chops too. You lucky dog. LOL!
I got to play the Hermida Distortion all weekend at the LA amp show.I must admit. I was surprised, as I had played the prototype, and the final unit just killed it.Its a one of a kind when it comes to distortion, as it has little compression compared to the rectofier kind, or modded Marshall, yet it has the thump and gain with articulation. Another great aspect of the distortion is, that it can aproximate a Zendrive very very closely, If you adjust the gain and other knobs right, thus making it a very versatile pedal.Heck I bought one, it was that good.

O!
yeah i've been letting my friend borrow it for so long now i forget how it sounds! i think he likes it :) alot!
hey remember that guy brian from decemberadio? i made that video of him demoing the zendrive in concert-- his band won Christian rock album of the year!
i saw him on the amp emporium selling his red peacemaker...didn't know he was a gear pager! he's a great player. old school happy solos...not "doing-doing-doing delay u2/edge clone with my hair covering my face" guy.
i may try to get the distortion in his hands next for a full workout in the hard rock genre.
peace man!

sounds great. Is the timeline still manufactured? I should have kept mine I guess!

yeah there still making them, but the are going direct from the factory and so when you look online the dealers say discontinued. they are backed up until the next batch gets made.
at first, running timeline mono in front of the amp, i wasn't knocked out by it, but in the loop of the egnater it came alive! i realized the input needs to be hit hard to make it respond right. it should have an input level control with clip indicator and independent volume controls for the multiheads...a few knobs shy of perfection!
in the grand scheme of things the replex has a better haunting headroomy "tone" in the echoplex vein, followed echolution for a memory man deluxe warmth if you like that, in front of the amp...
but the timeline's midi control, leslie and modulation depth, and tube interaction makes it the most flexible by a mile, and it still sounds
VERY GOOD:banana:banana:banana:banana:banana
having the real roland re-150 space echo here to compare things to is a bonus, even though it's the non-chorus version, and neither the timeline nor the echolution fall short of greatness in their own right.
