I like Bones.
I like Psych.
I still DVR Monk, but I no longer rush to watch the episodes like I do for the two above (I record them, but often watch them "live").
I gave up on Lost. I watched it religiously at first, but then, it's just gone on too long IMO.
I also started watching Invasion and that one with Lara San Giacomo - I liked both of those but Invasion finished the season with no "conclusion" before the series ended. I hate that (same with the one Sean Cassidy directed with the Lucas Black and "Someone's at the Door" bit - ended with no conclusion).
I'm afraid to start watching Flashforward because it might do the same thing.
What about Fringe, and Vampire Diaries?
JSYK, I started Supernatural too, but got kind of tired of that as well.
I'm not really into any of the googolplex variations of "CSI" type shows even though they're probably good. But since you can catch some incarnation of some NCIS type show at all hours of every day on at least 3 channels, I don't feel like I'm missing anything.
I've not gotten into Mad Men (believe a movie channel should play - wait for it - movies) and Rescue Me. Really liked "The Shield", but got tired of that one too.
I think it's the "too long story arcs" that get me. What's going to be on Lost this season - let me guess, yet another "twist" they can get more episodes out of. I still want to know why the things that were so important in the first season (the lotto numbers and walt's "powers") became non-issues as the show went on (well, I know why - ratings - concentrating on storylines viewers want and characters they like).
So what's good out there - new shows especially.
