I've been using 80/20s for years and love them but am curious about these Copper/Bronze strings.
Anyone used or are using them?

They definitely look interesting, don't they? I usually buy my strings in bulk but I might have to step out and grab a set.

I tried a set on my Goodall. I liked them at first, but they died fast and hard.

That's how I felt about the DRs when I tried them out. They sounded great for a few hours...but then died fast.
I'll probably give them a go when I have some down time for gigs. In the meantime, I'll stick with my 80/20 EXPs.

I've tried 'em several times on various guitars. For reference, I tend towards Pearse 80/20s, although resos usually get nickel. I rarely love the sound of phosphor bronze strings.
My experience was, in general, like konavet's: on a guitar they sound good on, they seem to die very quickly. However, I did stick a set on my metal bodied Delphi, and they sounded great, and lasted forever -- so who knows? The other guitar they sounded very good on was my CA Cargo. On my wooden guitars (which are primarily mahogany based) I tended to find the strings too warm and without enough top end to provide good string definition. They do have a tendency to emphasize the bass, but they aren't flubby -- more round.

They sound better than their more expensive phosphor bronze sets. They do have a life problem however.

I finally got around to putting the set on this morning (thanks Jazzandmetal?!) so we'll see what happens. I'm planning on doing some Youtube vids this evening so I'll be working them out.
I'll check back in once I have a feel for them!

I agree with this. After having them on for a few weeks, I can fully say that for studio or home use, these are great - very well balanced, LOUD, and if you kept them wiped down, I'd think they'd stay alive a little longer.
For live shows though, I'll probably stick to my D'Addarios. These might sound a little better initially but I highly doubt they'd make it through a full 3 hr acoustic show without fading pretty quickly.
