I have a Rivera M100, and I've been slowly upgrading it. The only hurdle I have yet to overcome though is the volume hurdle. Even in its lowest power mode, its still impressively loud. I would like to see if I can get away with pulling 2 power tubes from it and still operate it safely? I would assume since it has 2 sections of EL-34's in it that I would be able to pull one from each of the power section and it would work correctly? Would the impedance change on the output section? Or any other tricks I would need to know? If I'm right, which tubes exactly can I get away with pulling?

Any help appreciated. I would love to be able to cut the volume down even more in this amp without having to break out the attenuator and burn up tubes.

Yes you can, but the impendance will change and the best thing you can do is call or e-mail Rivera, they will help you.
Dont think it will be a lot less loud, it will still kick your ass really, really hard.
