Low hum in solid state head.

I have an old Randall "Switchmaster" head and it recently started making a low (in pitch) hum that's pretty loud. It does it without anything plugged into the inputs and the volume controls do not change it at all. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Start checking connections. Use a plastic pic/probe or something to tap around the board.
