Killer harmonica player who played with everybody it seems...and all around nice guy passed from cancer.

The big gig in the sky seems to be getting bigger in too much of a hurry.

Wow, what a bummer. Saw him at the Freight & Salvage in Berkley about three years ago. A wonderful talent and awesome harp player. Very sorry to hear this.

I saw him on The Midnight Special years ago when I was kid and I loved his playing. RIP Norton.

Sad news. One of the best ever, here's a small taste as to why.

I usually can just appreciate the harmonica in small doses. I watched some of the clips of Roy Rogers and Norton Buffalo and loved them. Too young to go RIP. I think what those two did together is great stuff.

Wow, I just saw him a couple months ago with the Steve Miller Band... Steve always mentioned him as his "partner in harmony for 30+ years", great musician. RIP Norton.
