I posted this snippet of a guitar lesson I took with Larry (1995) a few years ago on TGP and it was such a big hit I decided to resurrect it for a new crop of forumites

If your'e looking to add more interesting chord elements into your single note solos then pay attention:
1. Blistering chord runs
2. Use of the entire neck
3. Completely improvised!

i don't, but i studied with sal mosca for 5 years way back when, and i remember him playing at lennies memorial concert in nyc. he wheeled out a big marshall on to the stage and played a solo thing. and he played with a few guys i knew in the scene at that time.
