I know comparing the M9 and Modfactor isn't exactly an apples to apples comparison because the M9 does so much more than the Modfactor does. However, strictly comparing the modulation effects in each unit - how do they compare with each other? I'd be using the unit in the effects loop of my amp and am very satisfied with my current OD, reverb and tuner so those features on the M9 would never be used. Are the Eventide effects much better than the M9? A little better? On par? Worse? Going from reputation I'd guess (and that's all it would be) that the Modfactor would have better effects, but that's why I'm posting, hoping those who have done side by side comparisons or have owned both of them could enlighten me here.

I'm interested to hear what people think about this too.

I don't have the MF, but I do have the TF & PF. And I do have an M9.

The Eventides are WAAAY better for me , only thing the M9 has that's an improvement is the looper. Better than the one in the TF. But as far as everything else, I'm diggin the Eventide's more. But for a grab n go kinda box, M9 is great!
