Hi,
I tried the prototype last year in Frankfurt and was impressed. Supposedly much better now. I've hear some very impressive clips with a number of amps.
Would love to have one.
Hoping to check it out at NAMM.
Cheers,

Looks very interesting -- if it becomes affordable.
For an experienced engineer, he botched the definition of a "power soak" (which doesn't replace a cabinet). Sure spends a lot of time a talking about what it's purpose is -- which should be obvious to anyone who would be a potential customer. Is this an interview with a tech magazine (for non-musicians)? It takes about 5:50 minutes to get to anything intesting about the product, and then there isn't much offered.
I would be interested in more of how it sounds with different settings and applications. It looks like a high end studio quality version of other modeling products. It could be worth the $$$ if it performs well.

yeah, the vid's a bit useless, but the unit looks like it'd be great. a lot of it is self-explanatory; they really just need someone to scroll through presets & play, maybe divided screen style, with maybe a short 360º around the unit with the camera at various points in the vid.

Armin did a reamp of a Torpedo IR and load it into the Axe. He says that he got the same result with the Axe.
