Any one here a fan of The Venture Brothers? The last episode, especially the prog rock references, was brilliant. I can never get enough of the show, and wish that Adult Swim would keep from screwing them over by placing reruns (when they get back to them) at ungodly hours.

I have no idea who they are, but prog rock references caught my attention.:phones

Great show. What they've done to Johnny Quest is sooo wrong!

Season three has been EPIC so far! A little confusing as far as timing goes, but I like where it's going. A friend of mine brought up the possibility that the first episode was actually the last? I don't buy into it though.
One of the best shows on TV.
Took a long time for season 4 - almost gave up hope of any new episdoes.
Only a guy as cool as Brock Samson could make a mullet look good!

Huge fan of the show but I'm a bit turned off by the new season thus far.
The first 3 seasons were great. 2 being by far the best and 3 still being good but spotty. This is just too obvious and in your face. The beauty of this show's obvious undertones was the subtly they display. They make the jokes but they're not rubbing your face in them. The Captain Sunshine episode is a perfect example of them going way over the top and in your face. Maybe it's just me but it feels forced.. the charm of the awkward reserve of the earlier episodes is lost and it just feels wrong.
I fear the same thing is happening to this show that happened to other prominent adult swim shows. They start off great and in their success begin to warp further and further out of control and then you end up with meaningless references and non-sequitors and the dreaded punch-out ending. I appreciate a good punch-out but it's just sloppy and lazy in the last episode that aired with the prog rock. Sort of like the early bowie references it's just screaming out to be noticed.
Anyway, I really hope they pull it together, I'm starting to enjoy this show less.

Great show! The great thing is, the new season of Metalocalypse is starting this weekend, and will be on right after The Venture Bros. So a full hour of awesomeness!
We had a 12,000-day-old birthday for my brother a couple of weeks ago (yeah, odd, I know). Our mom, using her great talent in cake decorating, made him a Brock Samson birthday cake. Out of all the people at the party, only 1 other person knew who was on the cake...haha!

Venture is amazing...
Anyone watching Titan Maximum as well? Very funny stuff from some of the creative minds of Robot Chicken.

OK, that explains why I was so lost when I happened upon an episode last week....Hank (?) looked older, and the Captain Sunshine plot was a bit too grasping, so I actually turned it off.
I do like Dr. Girlfriend's new Dr. Mrs. The Monarch duds, though.
Love this show.
Just don't get to watch it now because I have to get up so early Monday morning for work.

Same here. I usually wait a couple of days and watch it on Hulu or the Adult Swimm site.
