Sad news when one of our own passes away. Rest in peace, Eric. My heart goes out to those that new and loved him.
Thoughts and a prayer on the way...with so many members, I had to remind myself with a search, but his presence here on TGP will be missed.:(
Sincere condolences to his friends and family.

...Rest In Peace Buddy!!
R.I.P. Eric.
I had read the sticky post about his 65 flametop replica for sale in the emporium, and that post was just over two weeks ago. Damn cancer.
I hope you are in a better place now Eric.
Peace for you Eric. Condolences to your family
and to your friends. Wish you were here and I
too hope that you are now in a better place.

RIP Eric. I just emailed him last week to offer any help I could. I didn't realize how far along the cancer had progressed. Nice guy, always had good posts/advice. He'll be missed.

Rest In Peace.
I never met him, never spoke to him. I know this is just a forum, and the sun would still come up tomorrow if TGP didn't exist. Yet here I am, saddened by his passing. We are all unique in this world. And his presence, his essence, has passed on, and too soon. That is sad.
Rest In Peace Mr. Blitstein.

I actually got this e-mail yesterday from his family.
I personally known the man on and off for 10 years. Jammed with him a few times, bought my first real amp from him. And have played his Les Paul and his favorite little amp, his 20 watt Soldano. I'll miss talking to him on the phone about gear.
I'll miss you Eric B. May you rest in peace my good friend.

I'm still in shock about this. I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and was planning on giving him a call to see how he was keeping...
He was a cool guy.

Rest in peace.
Eric was a great friend of mine and a contributer to TGP for years. I had known him since 1992 and miss him dearly already. Those who had the opportunity to know him are very lucky indeed.
