Anyone use a Emi Wizard with an open-back combo? [Archive]

The site says closed-back only. It is a Fender style 1x12 amp specifically.

Yes......sounds great with a Deluxe Reverb. Very full-range, with plenty of lows.

My Emi Wizards sounded horrible in my 4x12. I wouldn't even want to think how they would sound in an open back cab.

We use them in two different circa 1970 Fender Twins. No problems with that style of "open": back cab.

Carr amplifiers use them for the Vincent, sounds great there.
