View Full Version : What's a good book/cd combo to help me learn to sing?

I used to sing harmony/backup and a few songs on lead back in the day (15 years ago) and I am starting to play some duo type gigs with a lead singer/acoustic guitarist (I am playing electric guitar in the duo) and I would like to try and hone the vocals from my side a bit. I have seen a few books and cds and the like on Amazon.com but unsure which would be a good one to pick. Does anyone here have any recommendations or personal experiences? Probably my two biggest weaknesses are confidence, and not sounding good :)

thanks

Steve

PS please recommend a different forum if this isn't the best place, I thought about posting to the technique thread but it said it was about the fingers :)

I'll check it out, I was hoping for something cheaper than $199 but there seems to be a lot of good reviews on his stuff. Thanks!!
