Add the right turkey to the correct cooking procedure and it comes out plenty moist and flavorful without adding a lot of gobbledegook to it ahead of time.

Van Halen, a most excellent coalescence of elements.
Nah. Brining gets you a nice margin. No basting required either. No tents necessary. Season and roast. I never go over a 14 pound bird though.
