Well its a good idea to do....something of course, I mean what have you done already? I have done a bunch of stuff in 55 years but still feel like a slacker, so it depends on where you are starting from I guess.

Doing something more usually requires doing something else less.

I have done a bunch in 41 years, I am very much an overachiever! I have had some huge accomplishments that have gained me the ultimate accolades in my industry, but that is that. I feel like I need a new mountain to climb.

This is when i bought my first guitar. You need maybe a piano? Corvette? If you're healthy, why not join a mountain climbing club. Have you climbed Kilamanjaro yet? Maybe you haven't taken a vacation in so long you've forgotten how to relax. This one had happened to me and so a travelin we went. It'll really soup up things all together. Have you been to Tagatay yet? Seen Thailand? All the National Parks? Read a really good book yet or collect anything? Collections are great. Me, i used to collect things made of glass and porcelain--now guitars and amps. Life has just begun for you so why not enlarge your horizons or do you plan on leaving it all to your kids and relatives?

Call it what you like. The trick, however, is to do the things on the list ;)

You've lost your mojo. You need your sweet-stylin' SRV hat that you sported in the video. Everything will be clear then. Don't fight the force.

Part of aging is this idea of leaving behind a "legacy" of some kind.
Whatever. I'd like some of my original solo guitar pieces to live on, but that's about it.
I realized once that many of the people with museums, parks, banks, and statues named after them, were mostly asseholes. Sometimes being "famous" means you really weren't that nice of a person...
There are exceptions, of course.
Remember, J.P. Morgan might have possibly died on the Titanic in April 1912, but he cancelled his room, the same one that was recreated for Cal(Zane) & Rose(Winslet) in the film, Titanic.
Lucky, because he bailed out the entire nation, supposedly, after Black Tuesday, 1929! I guess he was a good assehole.

Haha, I guess I should have elaborated a bit more :) Some people seem to be on a constant search to achieve some sort of great "fulfillment" in their lives, and they don't really know what it is, and maybe never will. While they search for this question mark they continue to overlook what they already have in the present moment, and that action will always leave a desire for more. I'm not saying to sit on your couch and never do anything, but be content and appreciate what you have/have done. Most of us on this site are incredibly privileged, and have done more than most people have or will. The want for more will always leave you anxious and discontent. Seek more if you must, but don't feel like you have to in order to be of importance to the world... And it's true, we all end up feeding worms, but they are not picky with what they eat.
