WOW what a store. Almost an experience. It could be because its brand new but I was floored by this place.

New location in Rossford Ohio

I live in Springfield, MO (home of BPS and the original and largest store) and was there today picking up some Christmas gifts for pops. Absolutely fabulous place to spend a day if you love the outdoors.

You should check out a Cabelas store sometime. It's like a zoo but all the animals are dead.;)

I went there many times in the mid 80's when I spent my summers working at a camp on Lake Tanneycomo during college. We have a few here in KC now, so no need to make that 3 hour drive anymore.

BPS's are pretty fun, but as someone mentioned, Cabela's is Bass Pro Shops on steriods. Everything bigger, better and more. We have a Bass Pro Shop about 30 minutes from here as well as a Gander Mt. But I still drive 3 hours to Cabelas in Michigan and spend the night because you can't do it justice in a single afternoon! Did I mention Deer Gun Season opens tomorrow!

I don't know. I've seen a few water buffalo grazing around the confectionary areas on more than one occassion...;)

New one here in Calgary. I was disappointed to find out they don't carry anything tactical for guns (I wanted a 12ga. defender) as well, their knife selection seemed to be somewhat poor. Huge store with tons of taxidermy, though.

And it was a freaking mad house today! Parking was at the very edge of the lot.
