Quick Ohms Question

I'm thinking of running an amp into my 8 ohm Avatar cab that I'm not sure will work. I'm thinking specifically of the Marshall Class 5 which says it "offers a 16ohm extension cab output socket." Will this work with my cab?

You cannot run your 8 ohm speaker into the 16 ohm jack. Does your ext. cabinet have 2 speakers?
