Peavey Classic 30 ?

I recently purchased a Peavey Classic 30 head....let me say...for the money, its pretty hard to beat.

However, there is one thing that bothers me. When I turn it off, it makes a semi-loud popping noise.....is this normal for these amps?

shut if off on the clean channel with all pedals and reverb off, peavey has a amp forum also

If I remember correctly turning the volume off with the reverb down or off should eliminate it. And yes that pop is annoying.
