Catalinbread Ottava Magus II - it glows!

I just got the Catalinbread Ottava Magus II octave fuzz yesterday...

Now only does it sound awesome...it also glows! When you put the saturation knob from 12:00 and on, two internal leds (covered by the label) light up when your guitar's signal comes through!

I just turned the lights off to better see the glow as I jammed along with some live Jimi. Whoa, trippy! http://www.catalinbread.com/forums/Smileys/default/beer.gif Man, I'm gonna get some good use out of this pedal. I'm stoked.

Looks and sounds cool. Other than the smaller box and the lexan panel, are V1 and V2 functionally/tonally the same? (i.e., is the 3rd knob on the V2 an internal trimmer on V1?)

What I found was the only difference between the I and II is the saturation knob and if you turned the saturation all the way down on the II, then it sounded exactly like the I. I don't think there is any trimmer on the I, so it has no notion of "saturation".
