View Full Version : Female newscasters wearing a slip and a blazer

I'm watching the morning news and the female news caster is wearing a suit (with the jacket wide open) and a slip with no shirt. Call me old fashioned, but it looks like she didn't finish getting dressed this morning.

I think that look works well on a date or a night out with the girls, but on a newscaster at 8:00 A.M.?

Am I nuts?

I'm just about to head to bed, so I guess it works for me.
G'night, all!

Much better idea then the guys wearing dresses.

Give her a tramp stamp and she can replace Katie Couric, not that anyone watches her.

It's ok to do that but only if you leave the jacket CLOSED. Who dresses these people????

If she's good looking then I'm all for it!

If she's a tire-biter then probably not..... :bumpbump

And another thing - what the Hell ever happened to HOSIERY?

Hey, Allison Camerota - we don't want to see your boney white kneecaps. You're in New York, for Pete's sake. Aren't you cold?

It's ok to do that but only if you leave the jacket CLOSED.That was my thought. I'm far from a prude but to me it just looked tacky and unprofessional.

For those who need need pics, here's Sharon Tay from CBS...

Don't get me wrong, I think she looks great, but there was a reason why Walter Cronkite was considered the most trusted man in America and this is so far from it.

it's getting like these sideline female sports reporters( don't get me wrong some are decent and know what their talking about) but most are strictly nothing more then eye candy

That's why they have the job. And that's true for most female newscasters too.

But come on people, admit it. There is no hard journalism on the so-called "news" anymore. At best, it is "info-tainment." And it's good business, too. Put pretty people on TV, people watch longer. They watch the commercials, hoping the pretty people come back. Happy sponsors.

I'm not sure.

Personally, I'd be inclined to believe whatever this young lady told me. :)

As much as any news reader, anyway. :puh

TV news shows must be getting desperate for an audience.
