Effects Loop Question

I have a cable question - I plan to start running my delay thru the effects loop on my amp.

I use high-quality cables for the guitar>pedalboard>amp - is it as important to use high-end cables for effects loops or will a good quality suffice?

i imagine you'd want to use quality cables for the same reason you do in front of the amp. :munch

Here's what the Lava cable folks say about it (http://lavacable.com/buying.html):

FX Loop cables do not require high-end cables, although some customers have reported increased fidelity with their looped effects with a higher quality cable.

I use dual mono DJ cables and cut the phono jacks off and replace them with 1/4 inchers....... cheap as hell and you only have one extra cable running from your amp to your board. No signal problems at all.

The main thing is a durable, reliable cable.
