Hopefully this is the right place for this thread...

So I've been having a lot of issues with (what I can only assume and have ruled out to be) power issues. I play a gig on Wednesdays at a church, and then have rehearsal for another right after that just down the road. My amp will sound wonderful, full, ballsy, etc etc at one and then when I go to the next place my tone sounds like I'm playing a metalzone direct into a PA :bonk

I know it's not my amp, so I think power is the only issue that can account for it. So I'm on to looking at power conditioners.

Specifically this: http://www.furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=P-1800PF

or this: http://www.monstercable.com/productdisplay.asp?pin=2142

Do you guys think this will help my tone woes? Any experience with these products, and which one will be better?

yes a conditioner will help your tone...and it does sound like your getting dirty power at your rehearsal spot.

the best one out there is the JuiceBox. 4 isolated circuits for a total of 1500mA's. www.pedalgear.net (http://www.pedalgear.net)

i've had mine for 4 years now and it's the single best purchase i've made in my 15 years as a professional guitarist. in fact, i'm about to expand my board quite a bit and will be adding a second one!

Power may be the issue, bowwer a conditioner to rule it out. For it to be that drastic, the power would have to be really bad. If you have a multimeter measure what the line voltage is, or have a freiend that can do it. It would have to be way below normal to effect your amp like that.
