I have a Classic 50's Tele with some mods that I really like. But, I'm more comfortable on a rosewood board, and I love the look of that yellow/blonde body, white pickguard, and dark board.

Here's a beautiful vintage 68 tele that's just gorgeous, and out of my league.:)

Do they make or have they made teles that are reissues of that guitar or similar? Seems like I had a Squier in the late 80's that looked like that, but I'd prefer a Fender, of course. Something along same budget as the Classic 50's or Hwy 1 as a Custom Shop, Nash, etc. is out of reach also.

http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0131600305 is the closest you get in your price range - the body is more of a white blonde, but the specs are similar.

Just out of pure curiosity...

Do they make a reissue of that guitar in any price range? Or would that be a Nash, KLine, etc. thing?
