Basic computor question

How do you use the Print Screen option on your keyboard?

I used to know but I can't remember for the life of me how to do it now when I need it.:o

I need to make a snap shot of what's on the monitor screen.

hit print screen

open windows paint

hit paste, and save file (or print it)

and alt-printscreen captures the current window instead of the whole desktop.

Thanks. That's just what I was looking for.:)

Alt + PrtScn is the hotkey combo and it lets you paste the active window into most any app by using Ctrl + V.
