I think Sade and Green Day should tour together. They'd have a real YIN/YANG thing happening.

Been wating for this one. A local jazz club is having a listening party.

I do hope Sade tours it. Love her entire catalog, went to a 1990s concert and it was great.

Sade was one of the best things to come out of the (late) 80s, smooth jazz etc.

Anybody listened in yet? Am wondering if her voice is still has the same beauty she had back in the 80's. That voice has always killed me in a great way!

I saw an ad for this on TV this morning and she looks the same! I mean, she's looked the same for decades. Crazy. Still sounds good too. I wonder why she waits so long between albums though?

Perhaps the rare pop singer/star where career isn't everything? Sade seems to value privacy and have a lot of control over publicity and lets the music do the talking. Refreshing.

After her initial run of several big sellng albums she took a 4 year break. When she came back, fans were waiting and her new recording Love Deluxe was a hit and produced a hit single. She successfully toured that album, perhaps her last tour of the US, dunno.

Another long break - 6 years - (apparently during which a marriage ended and a child came) and she released her next recording, Lovers Rock in 2000. Fans were again waiting, it produced a single and also sold well. To put this into perspective, an excellent greatest hits collection was released during the time between new recordings. This -and touring and continued airplay of her catalog on some radio formats - kept Sade's 1990s profile fairly high, as high as she's ever let it get.

After a 10 year break (!! has it been That Long?) we get the new one. I know at least one fan who's been waiting for it :)....and will actually go out and 'buy the cd' of this one.

There's only one Sade. Nobody else sounds like her or does 'Sade Music.' All her songs/recordings sound great to me, still.

+1 on the bass/grooves on some of the great Sade songs. Love em.

:roll The audience wouldn't know how to act. Do we make a mosh pit or pull out the wine and cheese? :dunno

If you dig Sade, you owe it to yourself to check out Julia Fordham. Similar styles, but Jullia's material is more stripped down.

In my opinion I believe it is part of her strategy to keep selling records.

She is more less a one trick pony. Her style is the same on every record so she needs to give the public a nice long break then release a new album.

If Sade released albums every year people would get sick of her. That is coming from a huge fan! So please don't mistake what I am saying for knocking her. She is phenomenal!
