Ebay is becoming more annoying and challenging than ever...
This week I have had four bidders ask if they can make deals for way under my minimum prices and include free shipping. I have another who wants to buy a guitar and pay me on February 15th.. Last month I had two non-payers and another guy who stalled for 3 weeks before paying.
Are others seeing this same type of degeneration of Ebay??
Yeah, it also seems to me that theres alot less bidding auctions than there used to be vs. buy it now auctions that are asking too much money for their items.

I got an incredible deal on a custom Suhr about a month ago; the fellow put it up on a true "no reserve auction", and he got killed (pricewise, I mean). He accepted USPS Money Orders as payment (my preference), and it worked out great for me. But that felt like a 1 in a 1,000 type deal.

You can turn off bidders from other countries. It's one of the options when creating your ad.
Seriously, some of these complaints about ebay are in reality user errors....

It seems to me like the used guitar market gets softer by the day...

One thing I've noticed about selling guitars on ebay: you always get a barrage of questions from 2 or 3 ebayers during the auction--but none of those people ever end up winning.

it is frustrating: i sold a fuzz pedal-guy who won never contacted me, did an "open case thing", emailed etc, contacted ebay after 8 days, asked if i could just relist it, the next morning when i was about ready to relist-got an email from the guy, he paid for item, etc. odd.
during a # of sales i've had in last few months-it never fails that i will have someone email me saying "I will give you XXX-amt for item right now".
i never understand that. i always say: i'd like to wait out the process, thanks.
the person never bids.
other funny ebay things i've had-i remember i had my ibanez delay pedal for sale, didn't sell 1st time, i lowered price, didn't sell 2nd time, i lowered again, listed it a 3rd time, then it ended up selling for more than i originally listed it for. i thought that was odd...sadly, i miss that pedal & wish i wouldn't have sold it.
but i will say that w/ ebay stuff, you just never know, i never try to guess trends or people--they'll always surprise you one way or another....

I get the same numb-nuts stupid question askers on CL. I had a 4x10 speaker cab up, with pics. Damnit if 6 people didn't ask me if it included a head too. For $150!!!
