Do you just Paypal him the money, or is there another website I'm supposed to go to in order to order this thing? I mean, I already Paypal'd him my cash, I just wanted to make sure that was enough haha.

I don't see the problem. Sounds like a great pedalboard to me. Haha. Killer stuff there though. You'll have to let us know how your Miniberator compares to everything else!

He just told someone over at I Love Fuzz that if you ask him, he'll tell you your number. I just e-mailed him to find out which one I got. Wonder if they'll be labeled on the box or inside the pedal or anything? I can't see myself ever wanting to let go of this thing, assuming it sounds like my bigger RRR though, like Ryan claims it does.

Excited indeed!
I've actually e-mailed analogueheaven for a pre-order of the miniberator but was told no lists will be made unless they are firm on the shipment dates.
So I've been obsessively checking Analogue Heaven and Dr. Scientists Factory Fresh Finder everyday and up pops the Off The Air Miniberators!
Ryan's event made my day :aok

I told him the same thing, and I bought a Skreddy Echo for retail price today. :rotflmao
I really liked the idea of an RRR in a smaller enclosure, but I wanted to keep my hand-painted RRR over getting a silk-screened enclosure. I had also been wanting the Off the Air graphics and a color-changing LED forever though, so when I saw that he was doing this limited edition run, I couldn't reach my wallet fast enough! Haha.
Well, hopefully mine doesn't get caught up in customs for too long, but it looks like you'll have to wait a bit longer than me in order to get yours to Australia. I hope you're more patient than I am! haha

The circuit on this is supposed to be signal path 1:1 if I understood correctly just a changed layout. There's pics of the pcb(which is hilarious looking) on the scientist facebook. He said the silkscreened versions will not be available for at least another month though and nobody knows what they're gonna look like. And I'm crazy excited about the color change led. Cause it's the little
things.. Haha

I might as well put my thoughts down since I just finished posting them on HCFX:
never tried an RRR before, I like it, but it won't be knocking my Cathedral off my board, I think I'm going to rearrange things and use it pre-delay (Cathedral is last in my chain, after my Superdelay) and mainly use it for hall mode and rotary mode (which I really like)... it'll be helpful when the Cathedral is in infinite mode droning, so I won't be verbless... sounds nice...
I spent quite a bit of time comparing the two side by side, trying to match the settings between the two. Obviously, they are very different beasts, the Cathedral has more types of reverbs (7 + echo), presets, stereo, pre-delay/feedback, infinite, tone control, and reverb time control, the Miniberator has variations of three types of reverb plus rotary, and a very limited scope of control in comparison (mix, level, long/short switch). neither have trails, which would have been nice to have switchable trails/buffer on one of them, like on the verbzilla or rv-7. The Cathedral can get BIGGER sounding reverb for the most part.
comparing the two using basic settings, no predelay or tone adjustments on the Cathedral to keep it as similar as possible. no stereo either.
Hall: I prefer Hall1/long setting on the miniberator for the Hall setting, between the two the Cathedral sounds a bit sterile/cold, and there's a bit of wobble in the decay if you listen closely. The Miniberator sounds a bit more lively and natural, I'd say it wins in the hall settings, BUT there isn't a huge difference that you would notice playing loudly with a band, at that level you can get pretty much the same sound from both pedals.
Room: The Room setting on the Cathedral has a bit of a tube sound to me. Not the things in amps and pedals, but the cardboard kind you find with giftwrap. The Miniberator once again sounds fuller & warmer to me, but I rarely use Room settings with reverb, and neither blew me away to change my go-to settings to Room. Once again, with the Cathedral's tone shaping and time control, you can get both to sound very similar, and at loud volumes with other instruments you're probably not going to hear much of a difference, maybe one slightly more tubey than the other...
Plate: The Cathedral sometimes has a slightly harsh cymbal crash sound to it, which you can lessen with the tone control (which will of course make the verb darker at the same time), but at the same time has a "boomy" feel to it, not bass wise, but a "dropping a bag of cement in an empty warehouse" kind of boom. The Miniberator felt more even and rounded, no harsh highs, no slightly hollow boom to it.
All that said, I like both. The rotary mode on the Miniberator is awesome, and the reverbs seem to be of pretty high quality, which the Cathedral and keep up pretty well at louder volumes/with other musicians, and adds fairly nice spring, reverse, echo, infinite, and sound shaping options. Flerb ****ing sucks though.
When the Miniberator goes into regular production, they're going to be approx. the same price point, so that shouldn't be a pro or con for either side. Do you need stereo and presets? Cathedral. Smaller footprint and slightly nicer sounding verbs? Miniberator. Are you a tweaker and want more TYPES of verbs? Cathedral. Do you want a killer rotary settings as well? Miniberator. Want trails and octo? Verbzilla.
I'll be keeping both on my board for now.

If any of you decide to let them go, PM a brotha!
I'm loving it the more I play with it. I've been playing an AC15 for a while and I've missed having Reverb, so I'm glad I managed to snag this one! Here's my board at the moment:
http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee305/dsiverns/Pedals/PedalboardFeb17-10resized.jpg
I've tried a few verb pedals out and never liked them enough to buy one. This one will be sticking around for sure. With a half Canadian pedalboard, I'm happy to say that the mini RRR is up there with the best of them!

I love my RRR and almost jumped on board for a mini, but then i decided why would i want to sell the RRR... for a smaller box? my red sparkle bigger one looks so cool i'm glad its bigger so i can see it better...
hell ryan could make a HUGE enclosure with all his pedals in it with some crazy graphics on it and i'd probably buy the damn thing... i LOVE what they do on these boxes
