Anyone know if this is a legit Dumble Overdrive Special? It looks kinda funny/homemade compared to other pictures I've seen.

Could be real, could be a clone. A lot more pics/ info will be needed to make that determenation. Seems to have a mod or two. The 2 switches by the lights.

Yep- it's the real deal.

There were various graphics and cabs used along the way-

The amp chassis is original, but the cab isn't, this might have been the ones sent to Germany. Dumble never had bare wooden cabinets...

Billion 81 is that the exact same picture as Lumpy Trousers picture?

Yeah - that's kinda weird. The picture I have is from Craigslist . . . The scratch on the front looks exactly the same.

PS - what would one of these be worth?

Yes its real, its #33. But BEWARE it looks like the pic was probably stolen from the internet. Go to Rob's web page here:
http://www.roblivesey.com/dumble
Click on folder for 0033 and you will see he same pictures.
SUSPECT!

A lot of great pics and info here!

Yeah- Pinner/Tcauble- it's the same as Lumpy's. Yes, I pulled it from Rob's site to make the point. Same damn amp.

I wasn't aware this was on CL. Caveat EmptorX1000. Seems to me that gear of this ilk would either be on Ebay and would still get highly scrutinized by the well informed or be at come via Ultrasound or one of the other high-end retail folks

here's the same pic from Rob's site, but a real close up.

What are the key facts to determine if a Dumble is a Dumble or just a clone of some sort? What to look for?

Just for the record, I sold that amp to Japan years ago on behalf of the owner. I don't know what happened to it after that. The pics on my site are from two sources, the first taken at my house, the second batch were sent to me, but I can't for the life of me remember by who!

Absolutely right. The cabs were built in Germany. The amp chassis is original. I owned two of these.
