I LOVE people who give the middle finger to their disabilities. He's a real good player too!

That's inspiring. Seems like a really down to earth guy too. I wish they would have showed more playing without the commentary drowning him out. He sounded great from what I could hear.

This is really inspiring to me. I was born wth some missing fingers on my left hand but am naturally right handed. I play a lefty guitar and have found it difficult to pick with my hand relaxed because I'm picking with my non-dominant hand and it's sort of a struggle to hang on to the pick sometimes. I have made a lot of progress from where I used to be but it has been a lot of work. My parents used to tell me that I can do anything that I set my mind to and that's the attitude I try to have toward the guitar. It's good to see others that have overcome their challenges. It just reminds me that it can be done.

Lefty is very cool, great guy. I sat down and talked with him before his acoustic gig a couple weeks ago. I got to play with him a while back at a blues jam. A hell of a player!

There's a great blues player in California named Steve Samuels who has a similar disability. There's a video of him playing with blues harp monster William Clarke on Youtube. Truly inspirational. Makes me want to quit my whining and practice.
