Hi, I've been wanting to make my own pedalboard and i wanted to know how the wiring in this pedalboard is probably done: http://www.pedalboards.com/C-Smith.gif
Is it two pieces of plywood and the cables in the middle or some softer material for the top so it can be drilled and plywood on the bottom or maybe just drilled plywood on the top?
Also, for those who use the bike chain method to attach pedals to the board, could yo do it with all pedal brands? I own boss, eh, a dunlop wah, korg tuner and line 6 effects and wanted to know if i'd have to velcro some pedals. Thanks, and sorry for the english if you can't understand, so, thanks again.

Probably two pieces of plywood with little holes drilled for the cables to pass through the top. The nice thing about this board is it looks really clean, and you can probably mount a power supply between the top and bottom. The negatives are it's going to be really heavy, and it's also going to be a pain to rearrange or add any pedals.

I've looked at em all and IMO the Pedaltrain is the best design I've seen. I own a Pedaltrain 2 and built a board that's about the same specs as a Pedal Train Jr out of wood. Not the prettiest but as far as functionality and weight it's hard to beat. YMMV!

:agree

The biggest issue is that there is no easy way to rearrange pedals and if you are like me, you're never happy with your pedal rig for longer than about 10 minutes and then stuff starts moving again

Yeah, i own a pedalboard pro too but im running out of space, specially since im waiting for one of those bypass switch strips. So i was thinking about making a bigger one (larger, not wider).
