I finally got my hands on a Crestwood Astral II, but the whammy bar was missing. That is, the whammy bar set-up is there, but there is no bar. Based on the pics below, can anybody suggest some replacement parts? The Astral II is hard to find, so I don't have any hope of actually finding a genuine replacement part. Thanks!

It looks like a very similar guitar to my Epiphone 5102TE which also was sold as EA250 and EA250 Casino....as well as Univox Coily, Aria 5102 and a host of other brand names. You could open your search up to those and several other Matsumoku-built brands.

More than just the handle is missing. The handle would be pivoted on an upper spring bracket, and a spring would be sandwiched between them. It is a lot like a non-roller Bigsby except without the pins for the string ends....and that is a GOOD difference, believe me.

Try asking on matsumoku.org. You will need to register to post. I wish you luck.
