I have been using a Treble Booster just about two years now and out of all the gear I've gone through since then, I'd say the TB has had the most dramatic effect on my tone. It boosts all the dynamics of your over-driven amp and other pedals you use with it and just fattens up your tone.
I love it:love: I hope it never leaves me.

are you using a BSM? Some of the so called treble boosters I have tried have turned out to be midrange boosters. any recommendations?
Thanks
Brian

I don't want to fuel a thread about who makes the best TB, there are many great offerings. But since you ask, I am using a Java Boost. It has 3 modes treble, midrange or full boost. IMO it works very well to boost each one of these frequencies.
Take Care,
Paul

I got a D*A*M RRB and thought it was the bee's knees, but then my Cornish TB-83 Extra got in the other day and it's giving the D*A*M a serious run for it's money. For how simple they are, treble boosters are incredibly versatile. It's becoming an "always on" pedal for me.

I love mine. Rangemaster clone and TB-83 clone sharing one box. Very nice tones from each.

i love the java boost. the tone knob is the key i think.
ive got one with an oc44 which is a little too ballsy for me. im thinking of swapping it out for a CV7003, which i quite liked in the last one i had.

but yes, there is nothing like a treble booster to really liven your tone up.

Lately I have been using my TB in the mid-boost setting to fatten up my tone.

Is there a difference between a 'Treble Booster' pedal, and a parametric EQ that includes a dedicated Treble knob, with the Treble setting turned up? Is there something else going on with a pedal that makes it qualify as a 'Treble Booster'? Thanks.

Same basic idea, but it's probably implemented differently, which will change the sound some.
