Not sure what I would do with that ability if I did have it. Unless he could also teach me to time travel.

I thought this thread was going to be about a nice comfy place to sit that would make me sing better.

"vocal couch"?

Is that like a 'casting couch?' And, yes, I would sleep with someone to get a better singing voice!

Dunno, JJ, that kind of rules, in an REO Speedwagon sort of a way.

Wow, that sure is goofy as all hell but he probably makes a good living teaching and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he is a really good teacher as well. That's quite a range.

I used to have a few Ken Tamplin records back in the late 80's, he's got a 4 octave range so nothing to be sneezed at.

The dude is a great singer for that style.....it's just the delivery of the whole vocal coach thing in that video that is a bit cheesy to me....I am sure he's a cool dude but that video just makes me laugh.

C'mon Boogie, that's where I got all my vocal skills. That cat is beast and you know it! :)

I've had vocal training for the last 4-5 years to NOT sound like that. The trick to singing in those higher registers is to not sound like a woman like he does. There's no balls or girth to his tone. The perfect example of a guy that DOES is Chris Cornell in Soundgarden!!
