There was a thread recently over at TDPRI about him. Apparently he has been very, very ill for awhile but is going to be up and running shortly. He spoke with a few members over there last week from the posts that I read.

I've ordered from him twice and it was my experience that he doesn't worry about filling your order until he gets your 'hey, where's my thing' email.

I'm very pleased with the items I ordered from Vince. I got them in stages, actually, since my order was pretty sizeable. He even called me when the Tele control plates were ready to find out how many would be 4 way switches (and therefore how long should the slot be). And furthermore he sent me some extra items for free just to get my opinion on how I felt they worked, real life.

Nobody has ever suggested that these parts come lightning fast. He offered some nice discounts back in Nov. and December. If you were ordering from stock, that was the time to strike, frankly. He's been pretty ill; I for one feel no desire to pile on a guy who has been up front all along. He stays way busy and the plate is always full.

I ordered a couple of things from Vince and also found it not to be the fastest turnaround. But he was ill, and most important, he responded with an update when I would ping him (even if it was to explain why the delay) so I never worried. And the quality was great.

my dealings with him happened around the time he got sick...it took a bit longer to get my shipment but that's pretty understandable given the circumstances...he apologized and was very communicative during the whole process...

Vince is 100% solid gold.

My dealings with him have been professional and pleasurable - well for me at least, as I've changed my order several times through the process (adding stuff) and Vince was totally patient and accomodating.

He's a small one-man shop so he's THE man who answers the phone, reponds to e-mails, makes the stuff and goes to the Post Office.

I'm really sad to see that he's been ill. I've ordered from him before and I'll order again.
