Hey guys, I've tried a variety of speakers in my open, oversized 1X12: V30, G12H30, ET-65 and now I'm thinking a Greenback-flavored speaker would be just the ticket.

My favorite cab with this amp is a Marshall 4X12 loaded with G12Cs so I'm thinking a single 50W "Greenie" might have some of the tonal character.

Any other suggestions, or experience? 55Hz vs. 75 Hz?

I suggest a Scumback M75, 65 watter.

Thanks, that one is definitely on the short list.

Speaker combos in a 2x12 work very nicely too. It depends on how big a cab you want but some combo's that I think would work well include: M75+H75, Greenback+G12H30, Blue+G12H30.

If you want to keep it to a 1x12, you may want to review the Austin Speaker Works KTS-70 at http://www.austinspeakerworks.com/KTS-70-p-16135.html They are a bit pricey but get rave reviews.
