It's my 27th birthday this month. My folks asked me what I wanted, I mentioned I need a combo amp. I'm sick of dragging a pedaltrain a PRS and a VHT head and 2x12 boogie cab around to smaller gigs.So they gave me a 400$ limit on a combo.
Any thoughts for an amp? I was thinking bugera v22, or the jet city 20w amp.
Thoughts or concerns? Is bugera getting better with quality control? Guidance please....

Your $400 limit is going to be somewhat restricting. Also, how much power do you need? Are you mic'd at gigs? Here's a few good choices at that price.
Marshall Class 5- Only 5 watts but this little beast gets LOUD. Great plexi-like crunch when turned up.
Jet City JCA20- If you need 20 watts this thing will do decent cleans and decent mid gain crunch. Built well and affordable.
Vox AC4TV- Only 4 watts but real nice chimey cleans and can get gritty when cranked. Might need a pedal to do high gain brootalz
Egnater Tweaker Combo- Will be hitting stores soon. This may exceed your price limit but it will also likely be the best option for you. 15 watts, great cleans and gain. Lots of tonal variation using the different voicing switches. This would be my choice!
