Custom Shop Time Machine '60 Closet Classic

My local GC has a beautiful used one that they're selling for $1800. That seems like way too much to me but I can't find a comparable price point anywhere online. Would any owners be willing to comment on what they paid, new or used? Any comments about the guitar in general? Seems like a really nice piece to me, but then again all I have is an MIM strat.

I've spent a lot of time recently looking for deals on custom shop teles and strats. 1800 is about as good as you are going to find. If you like it, buy it. It will be worth it and will hold most of its value. If you had to move it fast, you should be able to sell it in 24 hours at 1650..

$1800 is a serious deal for a CS 60's Closet Classic strat. Mine is an unreal guitar, incredibly alive sounding and is a killer player.
