So, I just got one of these a few months ago and had it set up. I'm looking to upgrade the parts particularly the tone knobs and volume knobs. I know I want a a sd59 in the neck but not sure on what to get for the bridge. I want something glassy and punchy. Should I just get a 59 for the bridge too? Any feedback would be great.

The old Ibanez super 70's that came in the original AR100-300-500's were pretty darn good for stock p/u's. Most folks liked them as much as Gibson p/u's, which the Seymours are a repro of. You could probably find some cheaper than 59's. On the old early '80s Artists people usually only changed the bridge p/u for a hotter one, if at all. The other good Ibanez p/u's from that era were super 58? 88?. Also V2's, which are a little hotter.

I actually had that backwards. The super 58's came on the Artists and super 70's and V2's were in the lesser models. Sorry for the confusion.

Original Super 58s can be really hard to find. You could get SD 59 easier/cheaper.
