Want to buy this Tokai - help?!

I'm checking out this Tokai Breezysound

The price is in Canadian dollars. I've asked the owner for serial numbers, in order to check out the build date.

What do you think it's worth and what should I offer?
The Van Zandt's seem like a nice addition.

I've been looking for a Breezy for awhile, and this is the first one I've seen in my area.

I need to calm my GAS and think clearly.

Any wisdoms and/or opinions welcome?

Get the serial number and check if it's an 80s at the Tokai registry.

I have a brand new one just like that one, a 2009/10 model...check the pic.

Price seems a tad high, but guitars are expensive in BC...not a lot of used stuff of any quality around here these days.

I'd definitely check the neck carve...I had an early-’80s Tokai Tele that I loved, apart from its teeny-tiny neck...the smallest I've ever encountered on a Tele.

Van Zandt's are great, though...certainly an improvement over stock.

Get more info here. Also get pics of the headstock. Believe it or not there are fake Tokai guitars out there, so take care.

I have a MIJ 2002 that looks exactly like that. No markings on the thing at all except some pencil scratching under the neck pup. I had to call Tokai to verify that it was indeed a MIJ. They got back to me very quckly to confirm it. A beautiful Tele I must say.
