High-tech LED, or cork-sniffing old-school incandescent? Two cell or four cell? Anodized aluminum or rubber-encased mild steel?

That flashlight thing is some serious crazy. I've got some Fenix lights, a Maratac or two, and good old Maglites in various states of LED conversion.
Here's a phrase to google, though: Malkoff Device. No, it's not a thermonuclear weapon or an early 20th C. Austrian sex toy.
On second thought, don't do it.

Get into photography or bird watching or amp building. Or something where you can endlessly keep buying gear.

Get a Rinkya account and start gassing for all the gear in Japan that we don't get here. This has been good for a few years for me. Added bonus, when the yen falls you can actually buy stuff there, play it for a little while and sell it on ebay and sometimes make a buck or two. This really keeps the gas going.

Now there's an idea!
Hey, know where the best heirloom tomatoes can be found?
Do you use the regular straw for your mud bricks or the better organic kind?
It never ends, does it?
