Yep, Gibson and PRS...interestingly the PRS I saw tonight was an acoustic.

The last two weeks were PRS's. Acoustic and Casey played a 513, with PRS amp. I wonder how much these companies are paying for the spots?

I belive it was blue PRS Starla that you saw.

There might have been a Starla too, but he was playing a red 513 the other day. Also, I thought I saw that girl with the dreadlocks playing her Epiphone LP through a PRS cab.

I'm going to have to rewatch and look for the 513. I missed that one. :bonk

Yep a 513 for Casey, and all the amps on stage have been PRS amps.... at least that's what my wife told me, I uh... don't watch the show... yeah... I don't watch it.

I wasn't watching it since all the terrible people stopped auditioning, but then my wife kept calling me from the other room to come look whenever she saw a "Les Paul Reed Smith" that was like mine. :p

I thought I saw casey playin a strat the first couple times he played guitar on the show.

Yeah, he played strats at first, then it seems as the show goes along, they have access to all these other instruments etc. Last night, the Bowersox was playing some blinged out Epi-Paul, with matching strap. I doubt that's hers, but who knows... PRS and Gibson still seem to be the main ones you see, and the PRS amps.

I'm not in that business, but I bet there are product placement packages sold a various levels. Kinda like sponsoring a race car...big bucks to be the main sponsor, smaller bucks to have a small logo on the driver's suit.
I think it was the Hannah Montana week where they had a EVH 5150 half stack and a Gretsch (I think) drum kit in the background of the mentoring scenes. Small bucks for that and big bucks to have a favorite contestant play your guitar every week.
